Yorkshire Built Group is committed to working safely, responsibly and to a consistently high standard. Our key company policies are summarised below. Full copies of these — together with our risk assessments, method statements and insurance and training records — are available to clients, contractors and suppliers on request.

Health & Safety

The health and safety of our workers, our clients and the public is our first priority. We work in line with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.

• We assess the risks and prepare a method statement before every job;
• We use competent, trained tradespeople and provide the right tools and protective equipment;
• We keep our sites safe, tidy and well managed, with proper welfare provision;
• We record and learn from any incident, and review our health and safety performance regularly.

Insurance

Yorkshire Built Group Limited is fully insured for all works we carry out:

• Public Liability — £10,000,000
• Employers' Liability — £10,000,000

A copy of our insurance certificate is available to clients, agencies and contractors on request.

Environmental & Waste

We take our responsibility to the environment seriously and manage our waste in line with our legal Duty of Care.

• We reduce, re-use and recycle materials wherever practical;
• We dispose of waste responsibly, using only licensed waste carriers;
• We work to minimise dust, noise and disruption to neighbours;
• We use energy, water and materials efficiently on site.

Quality

We are proud of our workmanship and stand behind it. Every job is carried out to meet the current Building Regulations and relevant British Standards.

• We agree the scope and standard of work clearly with each client before starting;
• We use experienced tradespeople and quality materials from reputable suppliers;
• We arrange Building Control inspections and approvals where required;
• We guarantee our workmanship and put right any defects promptly.
